If you chose the second dialogue option, you will have a chance to use Axii dialogue choice to find out where Cerys went and gain an extra 40 XP. When talking to Eiric you can choose the first dialogue choice and he will reveal where Cerys went. You will be rewarded with 400 XP for saving Eiric.
